The Serenité is the fulfilment of a dream for these two ship professionals, George Ebert, who piloted large riverboats over many years in the inland waters of Europe, and Rita Medoev, who has sailed the oceans as Hotel Manager on elegant cruise ships. The dream became reality when they created their own river ship with a soul, with just the right size to cruise on narrow canals and beneath low bridges. Cruising since April 2001, Serenite cruises the rivers, lakes, and canals between Germany and France.
