The Horizon II is smartly outfitted with cherry interiors, traditional furnishings and antique brass accents, reminiscent of an English gentlemen's club. Accommodations include four king or twin suites, each with private bath. Her unique split-level design makes it ideal for any guest who must avoid a full flight of stairs. The barge has an expansive sundeck affording panoramic views of the countryside.

Cruising the picturesque Canal de Bourgogne, Horizon II passes through a region rich in history, commerce, art and religion. Centuries of diverse cultures have left their distinct imprints on this peaceful, gentle, rolling landscape.
Sunday
The barge's guide will meet you at the hotel. He will escort the transfer from Paris via private motorcoach to Tanlay, where Horizon II is moored. Welcome reception and dinner on board.
Monday
Morning cruise on the Canal de Bourgogne to the quaint village of Ancy-le-Franc. In the afternoon tour the privately owned, 16th century renaissance Chateau of Ancy-le-Franc.
Tuesday
Morning drive to the charming village and vineyards of Chablis, where a dramatic overlook offers sweeping vistas of the Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. In the village, sample you will sample these famous wines at the property of a private vintner Although widely imitated around the world, only the wines produced in this region can truly be labeled Chablis. Scenic afternoon cruise to the village of Ravieres.
Wednesday
Morning visit to the port city of Auxerre, the medieval capial of Lower Burgundy on the Yonne River. Accompanied by Horizon II's guide, tour the St. Etienne Cathedral and the historic old quarter, where cobblestone streets fan out from a Renaissance clock tower. Browse in fine shops and galleries housed in handsome 16th century buildings. Afternoon cruise to Montbard.
Thursday
Morning visit to the 18th century Forges de Buffon, built by the celebrated naturalist, Georges-Louis de Buffon. You will be greeted by the present owner who is your host for a visit of the estate and gardens. Afternoon cruise to Venarey-les-Laumes. Dinner ashore at the renowned Michelin three-star restaurant, Le Relais Bernard Loiseau, in Saulieu.
Friday
Visit the splendid Abbaye de Fontenay, founded in 1118 by the abbot of Clairvaux, St. Bernard. This meticulously preserved site is a rare example of the distinctive architecture and industry typical of the early Cistercian orders. Return to the barge for an afternoon cruise to the picturesque village of Pouillenay. Captain's Farewell Dinner on board.
Saturday
After breakfast, depart for the escorted transfer to Paris, arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon.
