Passenger Comments:

It was the trip of a lifetime! The cabins were wonderful, the service terrific and the meals and wines were excellent.
J&E M. MD USA June 2015

It was the most wonderful, luxurious vacation we've ever had. The accommodations were First Class - the food was a true culinary extravaganza, and the crew was top notch. We were pampered, and our every wish came to be!
S. & G. R., MA, USA, September 2014

There were so many high points of the cruise week, but we really enjoyed the jeep ride through the vineyard and the "blind" wine tasting/lunch at the vineyard. Both were a lot of fun. Nick worked hard at teaching us how to appreciate the wines of the area.
R. L., PA, USA, September 2014

FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! Beyond our expectations. The barge was beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and staffed with the most wonderful people. Rory, Caroline, Nick, and Hannah were THE BEST. We can't think of a thing they could have improved upon. The food was out of this world, the excursions were interesting and fun, and the crew were professional while also being warm and welcoming. We would recommend this trip to everyone! We feel it was the trip of a lifetime. The service from SPT was EXCELLENT!!!! From first contact to last, our information was complete, in fact, most times it exceeded our specific questions and anticipated our next question! Everyone was friendly, very responsive and helpful.
T. & G. G., PA, USA, September 2014

The cabins were great...like a hotel. All needs anticipated with great attention to detail. Meals were outstanding and wines were excellent. Highpoints were lunch at domain Drouhin Larouche and private wine tasting at Joseph Drouhin. Cooking lessons with Caroline. Guided tours of Dijon and Hospice du Beaune with Nick.
J.& D L., NC, USA, July 2014

It was outstanding! Far exceeded our expectations! Rory, Caroine, Hannah and Nick were absolutely fabulous! The boat is exceptionally beautiful and spacious. They made the trip very personal for us~ Chuck and I were able to go Go-Carting, and Rory let me try to "bring in the big one" on our last night, but he got away! We loved our fellow passengers, whom we did not know prior to the trip! We loved all of our excursions and learned so much! The countryside was beautiful. We had perfect weather. Caroline was the BEST chef ever! The food was light as it was very warm when we were there. The wine pairings were phenomenal. Nick gave a great presentation for the history of the wines. It was fantastic to follow up with wines of vineyards that we visited and have them with our meals! All in all, our best trip ever!

This and all of our web pages are hand-crafted with NO cookies, NO Javascript, NO plug-ins. Compatible with all currently tested mobile, tablet and desktop browsers with equivalent content and information for both mobile and desktop. We value your time, so ALL our barge web pages are designed for one-stop access = no multiple clicks to access barge details such as deckplan, itineraries, cruise routes, and cruise prices. We are by your side as experienced partners -- all the way from initial decision about the best barge cruise for you, through ANY question leading up to your cruise, hotel and rental car recommendations, suggestions for pre- and post-cruise travel, through post-cruise debriefing. We know that you will have the time of your life!
